Job Description

Montgomery County Public Works Department is seeking an individual to fill a Laborer/Operator Trainee position. Carpentry and/or concrete experience preferred. The applicant must have a current driver’s license and be able to obtain a Class-B CDL license within 6-months of employment. Training will be provided. Benefits include paid holidays, accumulated 8 hours vacation and 8 hours sick leave per month after probationary period, health insurance, KPERS retirement and uniforms. Beginning wage is $13.77 per hour, with an increase up to $14.82 per hour after 6 months. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Applications will be accepted until filled.
