Overview
About This Role:

Kansas State Polytechnic seeks an Executive Assistant to provide executive level, collaborative administration support to the Office of the Dean. This position is responsible for managing the Dean’s schedule and travel arrangements, drafting correspondence and meeting agendas, managing departmental purchasing and accounts payable, and overseeing operations for the Office of the CEO/Dean.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
Five Years of Relevant Experience
OR 10+ years of experience without a bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree
Experience at a college or university setting at an administrative assistant level
Three (3) years budgetary experience
Other Requirements:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Must be able to work some nights and weekends for campus events
Must possess Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) and be proficient with publishing software
Able to maintain high level of confidentiality
Superior time management and prioritization skills
Must be well-organized, a team player, and have the ability to coordinate and manage multi-faceted projects and events simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Detail and customer-service oriented.
Solid decision-making skills.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$48,430 – $62,930
