Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is not eligible for sponsorhip.

Responsible for improved availability and reliability of nitrogen equipment through the use of proper design and maintenance practices and preventive/predictive procedures. To ensure all plant electrical and control systems function as designed with minimal outage occurrences and duration.
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation and Controls Engineering
•0-2 years of relevant work experience required.
•Minimum of 2 years work experience in the electronic and pneumatic control systems preferred.
•Thorough understanding of Electrical maintenance work practices and NEC
•Must have broad knowledge of and experience with the maintenance of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation or in electrical power system.
•Must have proven investigative and analytical skills; troubleshooting abilities and leadership skills.
•Demonstrate clear communication skills (orally and in writing.)
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
•Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, such as Maximo.
•Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and GEMS standards for nitrogen equipment and instrumentation, and related codes and standards.
•Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints required.
•Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and CAD.
•Fluent in English, oral and written required.
•Ability to adjust schedule to meet business needs.
•Provide second level electrical and or instrumentation/controls support to maintain equipment and facilities in a manner that is safe, efficient and environmentally sound.

•Will work in a team environment with operators, I&E and engineers to maintain and troubleshoot problems.
