Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible for a variety of accounting responsibilities including internal and external reporting, annual budgeting, monthly financial reporting and fixed assets accounting. Responsible for process automations and improvements. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all he or she does in the community, and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s character qualities.

Essential Functions:
•Primary or secondary responsibilities for accounting duties and financial reporting such as: ?Fixed asset accounting
?Annual budgeting
?Swap accounting
?ATM analysis
?Investment accounting

•Asset Liability Management Share in responsibility for board reports
•Maintain books for bank holding company
•Conduct technical accounting-based research and analysis.
•Lead or assist with projects, conversions and upgrades.
•Prepare reports to analyze potential new initiatives.
•Maintain up-to-date procedures and cross-train employees on duties.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required with a minimum of 7+ related work experience. Financial institution accounting experience is desired. Previous fixed asset accounting would be beneficial.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Responsibilities of this position can be technical in nature and require interface with regulators. Strong analytical and computer skills required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have excellent customer service skills with a high degree of accuracy. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and a high level ability to maintain confidential information. Must be able to effectively prioritize work.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None.

Physical Demands: Long periods of time will be spent viewing personal computer, sitting, standing and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Some travel could be required.
