Our orthopedic specialists diagnose and treat conditions affecting the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. They subspecialize in adult reconstruction; sports injuries; trauma; and disorders of the spine, foot, hand, shoulder, wrist and elbow. Using the latest diagnostic techniques and advanced technologies, our specialists provide surgical and nonsurgical options for simple and complex orthopedic conditions. When surgery is required, many procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis using minimally invasive techniques for faster recovery. Under the direction of the Nurse Director, Patient Care Supervisor, and Charge Nurse, the nursing team provides patients and families with competent holistic care based on nursing process.

A day in the life…

+ Demonstrates competence in the delivery of nursing care

+ Utilize teamwork to exemplify quality care for all aspects of the patient’s care plan

+ Provides competent care for patients and families based on practice patterns which reflect new levels of awareness of suffering, patient/family psychosocial needs, and complexity of clinical judgment.

+ Demonstrates competency in professional practice. Applies nursing research to clinical practice.

+ Utilizes problem-solving and critical thinking approaches to the continuously changing clinical scenarios to ensure best positive clinical outcomes.

+ Communicate in an accurate, objective manner.

What we need (requirements)…

+ Registered Nurse (RN) State of Missouri.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS)

+ Associates-Nursing

+ Basic computer skills

What we ask for (preference)…

+ Bachelors-Nursing (BSN)

+ 1 year of Medical/Surgical or Orthopedic experience Preferred
