Job Description

Eagle Technology Solutions, a division of Eagle Communications, is looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled person to fill the position of Network Technician in Salina, KS. This person should possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work in an exciting and fast paced environment. The candidate should possess a great desire to provide top-level service to our clients.

Experience:
Two years of experience, or the equivalent, working on Windows servers, network switching, wireless and security technology, good customer service and communication skills. CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent beneficial.

Requirements:
Will be required to work directly with business customers in many aspects, such as troubleshooting issues and maintaining network and information systems. Must be able to work with different customer verticals (i.e. Education, Health Care, Non-Profit), who have chosen Eagle Technology Solutions are their outsourced IT partner.
Monitors customer networks OS versions and service pack levels to help
guarantee that the customer has the most current security pack and virus definition level available.
Monitor customer networks through remote maintenance to allow Eagle Technology Solutions to be proactive instead of reactive when issues do arise which will help guarantee maximum uptime for the customer.
Provides on-site and telephone support for the Eagle Technology Solutions support team.
Documentation and organizational skills are critical for the position along with tracking time and expenses for billing purposes and time utilization.
Researches applicable new and alternative technologies.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
