About This Role:

Facilities is looking to hire a Maintenance Manager to supervise, plan, and direct a skilled labor team in the areas of asbestos, construction, metal, plumbing, HVAC, dig safe\locate, welding, and projects of Kansas State University.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

6 years of relevant experience in building construction and/or renovation services.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer 10 years of experience/ knowledge of construction and renovation practices
Ability to evaluate, analyze, and resolve construction, mechanical, plumbing and electrical issues
Ability to read blueprints and plans
Ability to prepare and analyze reports
Implement, enforce, and document safety programs (e.g. scaffolding, forklift, confined space, MSDS).
Other Requirements:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Valid drivers license upon employment.
Completion of the KSU Introduction to Supervision within 6 months of hire.
Become certified as a Class II asbestos worker during the probationary period and maintain it.

Anticipated Salary Range:

$ 47,476.00 – $ 61,700.00 annually
