SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem
PEDIATRIC REGISTERED NURSE (RN) PRN (6 SHIFTS PER 4-WEEK SCHEDULE) Must have KS RN license and critical care and/or ED experience. RNs will float between PICU, Peds ED and Peds inpatient areas.

PEDIATRIC REGISTERED NURSE/RN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the general direction of the Director, the RN coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards. Pediatric patients between birth to 18 years of age.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATION: Current Kansas RN licensure; Ability to achieve and maintain BCLS certification required. PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year RN experience required. Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred
