Job Description

We are searching for an energetic, experienced maintenance technician. Patriot Estates is a family owned and operated business that deals primarily with multi-family residential communities.

Basic trade skills (electrical, plumbing, appliance, HVAC, carpentry)
High School or equivalent education
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Reliable and timely
Follow directions
Positive attitude, professional, and courteous
Able to Work Independently and as a team
Good communication skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Full Time, 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. some on call responsibilities and over-time may be required.

Review daily work orders with office staff to prioritize and schedule
Complete work orders (repair / replace light bulbs, light fixtures, ceiling fans, windows, doors, baseboards, trim, drywall, cabinets, shelves, mirrors, toilets, faucets, shower heads, tub spouts, smoke detectors, thermostats, locks, appliances. Unclog drains, sinks, tubs, and toilets. Scrape paint.)

Assist with care of swimming pool during season (cleaning, taking water samples, adding chemicals)

Assist with yard work during season (mowing, trimming, cleaning walks, pulling weeds, picking up trash, picking up tree limbs, applying chemicals.)

Assist with snow removal during season (using snow blower, shoveling, applying ice melt)

Assist with preventative maintenance programs ( changing air filters, clearing gutters, completing inspections)

Assist with maintaining grounds and common areas of the properties

Make occasional trips to the landfill and to pick up materials

May be asked to assist with housekeeping duties

Responsible for leaving work areas and shops clean and organized

HVAC. Type 2 or Universal EPA certification
