Inspector Wichita Service Center
Candidatewill perform and maintain proper inspection standards, methods and proceduresused by the Service Center in complying with all applicable Federal AviationRegulations and manufacturer’s recommendations\.
Job Responsibilities \(may include, but not limited to\):
I\.Ensuresproper procedures are performed on all completed work before it is released toservice\. Completes all inspection and maintenance records, reports and formsrequired before authorized release\.
II\.Performsthe following as delegated by the Supervisor:
a\.Maintainsa current file of FAA specifications, certificate data sheets and airworthinessdirectives\.
b\.Makesperiodic checks on all inspection tools and for the calibration of precisiontest equipment as outlined in the Overhaul Manuals and the FAA Repair StationManuals\. Ensures no defective or unairworthy parts are installed in anycomponent or unit released by the Service Center\.
c\.Submitsreports of defects or unairworthy conditions in accordance with FAR 145\.63\.
d\.Inspectsand accepts all incoming material, i\.e\. new parts, supplies and repaired partsfrom contract service\.
e\.Ensuresproper tagging and identification of all parts\.
f\.Maintainscurrent library of aircraft maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, structurerepair manuals, wiring manuals and engine manuals applicable to the Citationmodels\.
III\.Responsiblefor assuring completion of required inspections and maintaining files ofcompleted work orders and inspection forms in an efficient system for easyreview by supervisor\.
+ Equivalentto a high school education required
+ Requiresuse of arithmetic, blueprints and specifications plus knowledge of jet andpiston airframe and engine principles and mechanical systems\.
+ A&PLicense required
+ Requiresminimum of 2 years diversified A&P mechanic experience on jet and turboprop100 hour and annual service experience\.
