Provide engineering and management solutions to Power industries; perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection; provide guidance to peers and entry-level engineers with moderately complex projects; review lower level engineering work or assignments; prepare plan layout, section cut drawings for substations, one-lines, three-lines, connection diagrams, panel elevations and control schematics for MV and LV power distribution equipment; prepare auxiliary power equipment sizing calculations; conduct electrical system studies, including load flow, short circuit and relay coordination studies; prepare protective relay setting calculations and setting files; design wiring diagrams; perform complex engineering calculations/studies related to power projects, including conductor ampacity/derating, arc flash hazard analysis, lightning protection studies, battery charger, UPS sizing, CT saturation calculations and voltage drop following standard methods and principles; develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection; review shop drawings, vendor quotes and perform bid evaluations; develop construction release and startup procedure documents; plan and conduct quality checks on power facility electrical and wiring design and calculations; provide site supervision for installation and commissioning, manage and adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements; lead smaller production teams, serving as the responsible charge for a project; and assist with identification of key client interests and drivers on less complex project.
