Essential Functions

We have a variety of open positions, on all shifts.

Skilled operator positions are available in our mixing facility. Material handling and entry level finishing jobs are open in all production areas.

Mixing positions involve running heavy equipment, such as mills and mixers, in our rubber mixing department. Positions may also involve handling bulk materials to supply the mixers.

Material handling jobs involve operation of material handling equipment to supply materials to machines or move finished product to various areas of the operation.

Entry level finishing jobs work to inspect and package product. Entry level jobs present opportunities to people with limited backgrounds to join our team. The individuals we seek will have the ability to move to higher skill jobs in the future.

Major Duties

>Basic Computer skills

>Ability to work Overtime
>Commitment to work off-shifts
>Ability to work Saturdays and occasional Sundays, if needed
>Standing on your feet for most of the shift
>Ability to work in the summer heat

The following are additional duties which will be beneficial in performing the job.
>Experience in manufacturing
>Experience operating industrial equipment or heavy equipment
>Related technical or trade school
>Good mechanical aptitude
>Experience working in teams


We will train people to learn our entry level positions. Reliability, attention to detail, working with respect and a passion for the job are all important characteristics of individuals we seek.

For higher skill positions, experience in manufacturing and running industrial equipment is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is also preferred. We are looking for people who care about the business and want to make a difference.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Openings are primarily available on our 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shifts. Limited entry-level openings are available on our 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. shift.

Beginning pay depends upon the job. Entry level and material handling jobs begin at $13 per hour and rise to $15 after two years of employment. Higher skill jobs begin at $15 and rise to $17 upon qualifications. Opportunities to develop into higher pay positions will be available. Top rates are at $23 per hour.

Parker also supplies a competitive benefits package which includes: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Vacations, 11 Paid Holidays, Profit Sharing, 401K, Pension, 50 cent Shift Differential for off-shifts, Life and Disability Insurance’s.

These positions are located at the McCook, Nebraska manufacturing facility. The McCook plant was built in 1971 and is a major employer in the area. In addition to the production of a variety of low pressure rubber hoses, we also produce millions of pounds of rubber compounds. Located near the Kansas and Colorado borders, McCook provides a variety of entertainment and retail opportunities. In addition to local activities, we are located four hours from Omaha and Denver.
