Position Summary

The Content Specialist will be researching industry-related and emerging technology topics and preparing well-structured drafts using digital word processing and publishing platforms. This role will create and design engaging content to share on brands’ social media accounts, customer newsletters, PR opportunities and drive content marketing and retargeting strategies. The perfect candidate will be someone strategic, loves finding new trends, heavy social media users in their spare time, and excited about making great content that shifts user’s behavior.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Work with the Content Manager to identify trends and creative opportunities
•Research industry-related topics and emerging technology topics
•Prepare well-structured drafts of blog/resource content
•Draft and publish articles on Adobe AEM publishing platform
•Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog posts
•Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
•Work with the SEO team to identify content opportunities and conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
•Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
•Coordinate with creative teams to illustrate and elevate articles with creative assets/video

Education/Experience:
•BA/BS Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field OR 4+ years of experience.

Skills:

•Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role
•Portfolio of published articles
•Experience in social media and/or engaging content is preferred
•Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, AEM)
•Excellent writing and editing skills in English
•An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
•Time-management skills
•Familiarity with SEO
