Job Description

NOTE: Any individual who was required to register with Selective Service and who is not registered or knowingly and willfully did not register before the requirement terminated or became inapplicable, will not be appointed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures all areas of the Bowling Center are clean and clear of debris. Assists the manager and recreation assistant with renting shoes, assigning lanes, collecting money, and answering the telephone when the manager/assistant is required to be away from the control counter. Properly disposes of trash. Assists in the clean up after leagues and special events. Assists in conducting inventories and maintaining records. Ensures that safety rules are adhered to. Performs other related duties as assigned/directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a neat and clean appearance and have a clear speaking voice. Practical knowledge of the sport of bowling is desirable. Must be able to learn new procedures and exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check (NAC) prior to employment.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Must be courteous and exercise diplomacy and tact when dealing with customers. Must adhere to cash handling procedures. Must adhere to fire, safety, and facility security and sanitation standards. Must maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with other staff members and show a willingness and ability to learn on the job. Expected to satisfactorily complete all required training.

TRAINING:

Attends training as directed by supervisor.
