We are a Bariatric Center of Excellence and have obtained The Colorectal Center of Excellence. We have a Bariatric/Colorectal coordinator who serves as a strong resource for patients, nurses, and physicians. We have great surgeons who love to educate and support the nursing team.
Under the general direction of the Vice President of Quality, manages the Bariatric program. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient and family needs, develop guidelines, implement necessary research, monitor patient outcomes, market the product line, develop and implement successful initiatives to grow volume in the designated program. Ensures the program and facility meet all the Standards of Center of Excellence in order to apply and maintain certification. Manages all data quality input in order to meet the standards for certification. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner. Supports the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.
Education: BSN or healthcare degree required; Master s degree preferred.
Certifications: Strong organizational skills required. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Experience: 3 years of clinical nursing experience or healthcare mgmt. experience. Program and/or project management experience preferred.
