This position is for 1st Shift. Typical work week is Monday to Thursday. Overtime and weekends will be required during peak seasons.

Job Description •Operates equipment, tools, and machinery in a safe and proficient manner.
•Requests, receives, maintains, weighs, bags & inspects.
•Must be able to read and understand process specifications, scales, weights and volumes.
•Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
•Verify that process, specifications, from raw material to packaged goods, are maintained at acceptable levels.
•Maintain high level awareness of area sanitation.
•Works with employees and managers from all areas of the plant to ensure compliance with RSC guidelines, rules, and procedures.
•Performs clean-up activities and assigned.
•Conforms to rules.
•May be assigned other duties by plant management as required.

Basic Qualifications •Detail oriented, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and a sense of urgency for problem solving and continuous improvement.
•Strong level of assertiveness needed in order to balance workload along with exceptional interpersonal skills to achieve results without direct authority.
•Ability to weigh and measure ingredients properly.
•High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications •One (1) year of quality, sanitation, and production experience in the food industry, preferably in confectionery, are required, with an intimate knowledge of and passion for quality and sanitation methods and techniques.
•A background in food technology, food science, confectionery, microbiology, or chemistry.
