*Description

The purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the welding and machining services groups located in Clifton, Kansas.

Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy, accountability and reliability.

Provide accurate input into the budget process and contribute to meeting the actual targets.

Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.

Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities; enhance job knowledge and abilities by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training.

Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.

Attend work on a regular basis and support the company’s employee policies and procedures, including workplace safety rules.

Qualifications
Position Requirements**

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience. Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a Bachelor’s degree.

Five or more years of welding fabrication experience in inventory and raw material management and control.

Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, manufacturing planning, process control, reporting systems, and manufacturing cost control.

Thorough knowledge of welding fabrication processes and procedures as well as pipeline construction techniques.

Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, policies and procedures.

Advanced computer skills and knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.

Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with internal and external personnel at all levels.

Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Subject to 24-hour emergency callout.
