About this Role:
The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking applications for a position in Veterinary Radiology. In addition to traditional tenure and clinical track positions, Kansas State University is excited to offer the possibility of a non-traditional track for interested applicants. The non-traditional track will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to participate in resident training, clinical and didactic instruction of veterinary students while also allowing a flexible clinical appointment to support a comfortable work life balance. The non-traditional track would be specifically tailored to professional and personal goals of the applicant. Federal student loan repayment is negotiable. The successful candidate will join a radiology section that includes three faculty radiologists, one current resident, one intern and three service-dedicated technicians. The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University is home to a state of the art radiology facility which includes large and small animal computed and digital radiology, state-of-the-art ultrasound, in-house 16 slice helical CT (with large animal imaging table), new 3T Toshiba magnet by November 2018, and nuclear medicine capability.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Directed clinical service will include delivery of imaging services to small, large, and exotic animal patients in the Veterinary Health Center. Teaching responsibilities include instruction of veterinary students, interns, and residents in clinical rounds, and didactic lectures. Opportunities exist for collaboration across a broad range of basic and clinical sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine. The tenure-track position would include approximately 50% clinical service, while the clinical-track position is approximately 70% clinical service. A clinical-track appointment at 0.7 FTE or higher will also be considered. Required Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, be ACVR or ECVDI certified, or be eligible to take the certifying examination. Competence in general radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MR and CT is required.
